KEEPING IT GREEN

With the help of Eureka Recycling, participants attending the '06 Northland Bioneers Conference recycled over 96% of all waste during the 3-day event. More remarkable is the small amount of material generated at the event at all, making this conference a stand-out example of how we can collectively achieve zero waste.

This year, thanks to Eureka, our site partner the UAW Ford Training Center and the Mississippi River hydro energy that runs the center, intentions to conduct a zero waste event will be even easier to accomplish.

KEEPING IT GREEN requires active thinking on the part of all organizers, registrants and exhibitors. Remember the three R's as you plan and attend this conference.

Registrants are encouraged to bring their own mug, utensils and plate. A rinsing sink is available. Dishware must be sanitized at home.

If you choose to bring your own food, please pack in reusable containers to align with the conference zero waste commitment.
